Who We Are

Westside Pride is an evidence-informed early intervention program delivering tailored group-based support for adolescent males at risk of entering or progressing through the justice system.

Purpose built by our co-founders, bringing over 26 years of combined expertise in youth development, community engagement, crime prevention and justice, delivering evidence-informed, strengths-based programs. Built on trusted relationships, lived experience and a commitment to creating positive pathways.

Offering a unique blend of professional expertise and accredited sporting backgrounds Westside Pride is tailor-made, impact-driven program designed specifically to support youth in the west.

Through trauma-informed mentoring, structured physical activity, and targeted psycho education group sessions, one on one work, we address the underlying risk factors associated with youth offending while strengthening the protective factors that promote long-term behavioral change.

Westside Pride develops emotional regulation, positive decision-making, accountability, resilience, and pro-social identity. We foster a strong sense of pride in the communities young people come from while celebrating their individual cultural stories, strengths, and identity, creating a sense of belonging and connection.

Working collaboratively with families, schools, youth services, Victoria Police, Youth Justice, Child Protection and other statutory agencies, Westside Pride improves engagement, reduces offending risk, strengthens community connections, and supports young people to build safer, healthier, and more productive futures.
